Silent Night

Silent night, holy night, all is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin Mother and Child, holy
Infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night, shepherds quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar, heavenly hosts sing
Alleluia.
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born.

Silent night, holy night,
Son of God, love’s pure light,
Radiant beams from
Thy holy face, with the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth.

Silent night, holy night, wondrous star, lend thy light;
With the angels let us sing,
Alleluia to our King.
Christ the Savior is born,
Christ the Savior is born.

Hymn “Silent Night” Hymnal #239 vs 1& 4

Friends,

We are glad to have you join us this evening. Please know that you are not alone, that others feel and share your pain. Know also that God is aware and grieving with you.

Christmas is a time to celebrate love, for that is what happened that first Christmas. Love came to earth in the form of a tiny baby. For those of us who grieve, we need to remember that it is love, not time, that heals all wounds. I pray that you find peace.
