Adult Sunday School
The Life Application Study Bible says that we as Christians can blend into our surroundings just as a chameleon does by changing colors. Paul, in his writings to the Corinthians, deals with ways we try to adjust our colors to life.
For eight weeks, we will look at 1 Corinthians and how Paul saw the early Jewish-Christian living as individuals and as a church and offers solutions and teaching for us, as believers, in our modern day life.
Pastor Gary will be leading “A Look at Life through Colored Glass” as we study
1 Corinthians beginning on September 10th and running through October. Class time will begin promptly at 9:30am and end at 10:15am so that we can have time to prepare to enter worship.
• We will be hosting the Reebok Ragnar Relay race again this year on Sept. 29th or 30th. Mechelle Schneider oversees this event and will have more information to pass on as she gets it from Ragnar.
• Our Church Conference will be held at the Montague UMC on October 15th at 1:30pm. (SPRC will be meeting on the 14th also.)
• Monday night Movies/potlucks will be starting again September 11th at 5:30pm. Plan to bring a dish to pass and join us in fellowship.
• Card making parties will be held periodically. Check with Carol Adams if interested.
